As Spring arrives, we will naturally start to socialise more and spend more time outdoors, and of course the weather will start to warm up. All of these changes take effect on our skin. Here are 3 Dermalogica steps to keep your ski healthy and glowing into the warmer months.

Well, spring is finally here and we can start to creep out from our caves again. We will naturally start to socialise more and spend more time outdoors, and of course the weather will start to warm up. All of these changes take effect on our skin.  Some people start to feel more oil production, some start to feel dry parts of their skin that have been hiding during winter, and others start to see little blemishes. Whatever your skin type, we will all experience changes with our skin as the weather changes. So here are 3 really simple yet effective spring time Dermalogica steps to keep your skin healthy and glowing into the warmer months.

Step 1: Cleanse away morning and night

Thorough cleansing is the most critical step in a successful home care routine. It delivers immediate skin care benefits and is an important part of the whole-body health. Dermalogica cleansers are soap free cleansers that lift impurities, address skin issues and prepare skin for treatment. Dermalogica's Special Cleansing Gel is the #1 cleanser as it is suitable for all skin conditions. Simply lather a pea-sized amount of gel into moistened hands and apply to dampened face and throat. Step 2: Exfoliate to banish dead skin

Exfoliation is important to the health of all skin conditions. Dermalogica recommends 1 day of intense exfoliation using a product like Gentle Cream Exfoliant and then 7 days of gentle exfoliation such as Daily Microfoliant to more effectively stimulate cell renewal rates. For Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant, simply dispense about half a teaspoon into wet hands and create a creamy paste by rubbing hands together. Apply to face in circular motions, massage gently for one minute and then rinse thoroughly. The weekly exfoliant has more powerful ingredients to ensure a more intense exfoliation occurs. You can apply the Dermalogica Gentle Cream exfoliant over face and throat and wait 10 mins to activate, then rinse well. Effective exfoliation will allow your moisturisers to work more effectively on the skin.

Step 3: Moisturise = Hydrate + Lubricate + Protect
