LED Light Therapy is a very popular choice for clients these days and with so many amazing benefits, its understandable why.

What is LED Light Therapy?

LED is a non-invasive skin surface treatment system that uses light delivered through light emitting diodes to deliver pure light in precise wavelengths. It’s a no downtime treatment that repairs and intensely hydrates to enhance skin tone, luminosity and texture.

What does LED Light Therapy do for the skin?

The benefits to the skin are incredible! And many of these results show immediately.
It’s incredible how plump and juicy and hydrated skin can look afterwards. Here is a list of the many benefits the LED Light Therapy has on the skin:

  • Repairs and rejuvenates
  • Improves skin tone and texture
  • Treats acne, dermatitis, rosacea and psoriasis
  • Decreases deeper lines and wrinkles
  • Skin tightening
  • Wound Healing
  • Increases blood flow to tissues
  • Relieves muscular and joint pain
  • Stimulates collagen production
  • Stimulates ATD – cellular energy
  • Increases skin’s natural hydration
  • Stimulates serotonin to the brain

How does it work?

We use a machine called Healite II which emits alternating low-level wavelengths of the yellow spectrum of light channeled through 1800 targeted LED diodes or bulbs.

This form of yellow light ensures maximum penetration of rejuvenating light into the skin and also the distribution of the most efficient calibration of wavelengths targeted to specific levels in the skin for maximum effect; on the surface and sub surface and also at a sub-cellular and cellular level.

Healite II treatments stimulates collagen/elastin production and natural hydration, heals acne and is also extremely therapeutic in its wound healing and pain management abilities. It is even known as a holistic treatment as it stimulates blood flow and serotonin to the brain.

The warmth on your skin feels so comforting and relaxing...it feels just like laying on a beach in the sun (only this one is good for you and your skin!).

What does a LED Light Therapy Treatment involve at GLO?

You can experience an LED Light Therapy Treatment with us by itself or incorporated into a Skin Treatment.

The light will be on your skin for 13 mins and 30 sec. We begin by cleansing the skin so for the women, if you arrive with make-up on, don't worry, we will remove that for you. For the men, we still want to give the skin a good cleanse to ensure you will receive the maximum penetration of the light.

Whilst the LED light is working its wonders, enjoy a hand and arm massage to help you relax even further. We finish with toner, eye cream, moisturiser (including and SPF for daylight protection during the day).

To book a treatment with us or if you have any questions, call us on 1300 828 131 or email us and we will be happy to help!
