In my 18 years of being a Skin Therapist, when it comes to concerns of ageing, I have heard from many clients "Oh it's a bit late for me".
The good news, it's not! No matter what is your age, it is never too late to start a home care routine targeting your concerns of ageing.
Ok, so you may have some wrinkles and fine lines that you dislike, and the wish that you had taken care of your skin at an earlier age? Don't worry - the moment your skin receives the fundamental ingredients to target skin ageing, the ageing will start to slow down.
You might also ask when you should start using anti-ageing products?

First Step:
If you have some fine lines and wrinkles already appearing, the sooner you begin the better.
A consistent home care routine is the first step to healthy skin, so if you go to bed with your make-up still on and are sporadic in using your skincare products, here's my first tip for you:
Take care of your skin morning and night consistently - I guarantee you will notice a difference in how the skin feels and looks.
If you don't have any skincare products at the moment or unsure of your routine, this is where we come in! We're here to support and guide you. We are experts in Skin and Dermalogica, so please reach out to us because I was there once - not knowing what to use on my skin or how to use it.
Second Step:
Now to the Second Step!
The Second Step is simply to ensure your home care routine contains the correct ingredients to target your concerns of ageing.
What ingredients should I use on my skin?
Peptides, antioxidants, vitamins and plant extracts are all key in helping target concerns of the skin.
The type of skin concern will determine the ingredients used in each product.
Plant Extracts
Plant extracts are taken from the tissue of the plant and in this case, would help fight free radical damage, stimulate collagen and elastin.
Antioxidants
Antioxidants help protect the skin against free radical damage which accelerates our ageing (eg pollution). They have powerful anti-ageing benefits to the skin.
Peptides
Peptides are phenomenal! They act as communicators to skin cells and they basically instruct a skin cell on what to and what not to do. In the case of ageing, peptides will help 'turn on' the production of collagen.
What are the key skincare products to target ageing?
Cleanse Effectively
Using PreCleanse or PreCleanse Balm on your first cleanse at night time will ensure your make-up, dirt, oil and grime are removed from the skin. Leaving these elements on your skin overnight can increase your ageing.
Thermal Skin Exfoliant
Exfoliation will helps smooth and brighten the skin. Multivitamin Thermafoliant is a physical AND chemical exfoliant to help increase cell turnover and the thermal action helps drive ageing fighting ingredients into the skin.
